My family and I met Angelique in March 2024, and received a recommendation from her during the process of my mom's placement. I would give 1-star for the actual board and care. My mom and us were more harmed than helped. However, Angelique was genuine in her efforts, responded to our calls and was able to make some good recommendations for an alternative placement. Although we did not end up placing mom in a home that was recommended by Angelique the second time, we recommend her services to anyone who's in need of a placement for their parent. I was referred to Angelique at Assisted Living Locators Thousand Oaks after my father’s traumatic brain injury. My senior mother was understandably overwhelmed and panicked. She had no idea of who to turn to for help finding an assisted living provider and time was of the essence. Angelique came to the rescue! She quickly introduced herself to my mom, helped calm her fears, assessed the situation, and took action. Angelique’s experience, patience, and empathy immediately earned my mom’s trust (not an easy task) and in less than a week she had helped my mom find, tour, and move my dad into an assisted living location that my mother was happy with! Angelique’s dedication to helping my parents was nothing short of amazing! She helped my mom navigate  through a nightmare situation and helped change both my parents’ lives for the better.
